Administrator

National Mobility Centre, Clane

 

The purpose of this position is to administer the processing of Disabled parking permits in the National Mobility Centre in Clane.

 

Liaison

Liaison will be required with internal IWA staff and Management and also external stakeholders e.g. GP’s and people applying for parking permits for themselves and family members.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Administer the issuing of parking permits.

Reconciliation of monies received for parking permits.

Undergo training as requested by National Transport Manager

Liaise with GP’s and permit applicants.

Provide advice to general public on Disabled motoring issues.

Carry out duties as directed by Office Manager, Mobility Centre

Actively ensure that standards and practices regarding health and safety are fully adhered to in all areas of the service.   Record and report any incidents/accidents to the Service Co-ordinator.

Carry out other duties and/or responsibilities which may be assigned to you from time to time.

Ensure that your responsibilities to safeguard children and adults from abuse or harm is a core aspect of your role and that IWA’s Safeguarding Policies and Procedures are adhered to.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

 

Training, Experience and Qualifications

An ECDL or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Excellent computer literacy including, Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.

Experience of working in a busy office environment is essential.

Excellent telephone manner

 

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent customer service skills.

Some knowledge of the disability sector would be an advantage
