We are seeking applications from committed and caring Healthcare - Homecare Assistants who are interested in joining us in the Cootehill, Cavan area:
Candidates must have experience of working with children with disabilities.
Ideally the candidate would need SNA/Childcare qualifications.
The position on offer is 10 hour, part time role
Availability every 2nd weekend is essential
What we Offer
*The current pay scale is subject to an 8% salary rate increase in 2024, aligning with the recent WRC interim agreement aimed at enhancing pay adjustments within Section 39 organizations.

Salary range for this position is €14.23 – €15.82 per hour depending on experience
Premium rates paid for unsociable hours.
Before 8am and after 8pm - from €17.78 p/h
Sunday - from €21.34 p/h
Public Holidays - from €28.46 p/h

Overall Purpose of Job
The purpose of the role is to enable the Service User to achieve maximum independence in all aspects of daily living, by providing assistance in one or more of the following areas; personal care, domestic assistance, social and educational assistance, travel and companionship.

Liaison
There are a number of key relationships, which should be fostered and developed for the successful implementation of this role. Liaise and coordinate with other identified Personal Assistants (PA’s) as required and maintain close communication with the IWA@Home Coordinator.

What we Require:
SNA/Childcare qualification at QQI Level 5 (essential)
Full Driving License and access to vehicle (essential)
Experience in a caring environment preferable but not essential
Use of your own smart phone to check in and out of your visits is essential
Availability to work every 2nd weekend (essential)
Needs to live within 30 minutes of the above locations
